Sinead Buckney

Sinéad Buckney studied jewellery and metal design in Scotland, graduating in 2005. Upon graduation she set about designing a range of unique handmade jewellery designs to make and sell. She has recently moved to Canberra and continues to make and sell her Jewellery through United Kingdom outlets as well as in Australia.

Each of Sinéad’s designs start with the simplest of shapes, formed in solid silver to encase the colour. These are combined with open silver shapes that echo the solid shape. She draws her influences from the shapes that construct the world around us, combining them to create infinite possibilities. Sinéad’s designs are a product of her experimentation with many combinations of natural shapes and patterns.

Sinéad loves having jewellery to match all of her colourful outfits, and she makes her jewellery in many colours, to help those who wish to compliment, or add an accent to their favourite outfit.

Many of Sinéad’s pieces are hallmarked in Scotland, and the items are presented in sleek tin boxes which satisfy her green tendencies, and are too nice to throw away!
