Mingus started in 2005 during my year long leave from a Fine Arts course. It began with the odd card here and there and, with help and encourangement from one particular shop owner, Mingus has slowly expanded and now includes a variety of brooches and purses in the collection. Every Mingus piece is one of a kind with each one taking on a slightly different finish as they are lovingly crafted by hand without the benefit of stamps or cutters.
