Penny Butterworth is a Sydney based ceramicist who has been recently inspired to explore this medium further through the creation of desirable pieces of wearable art. She has always been fascinated with the patterns and texture in life and art and expresses this through her very tactile sculptured pieces that feel and look beautiful to wear. The black and white ceramics on black cord or velvet are simple, unique, elegant and understated.
